WHAT'S INCLUDED

Most people like to be able to travel without having to worry about any extra expenses or nasty surprises they weren’t told about when they booked. This is why we inform you exactly what is and isn’t included on the trip.

hostelACCOMMODATION

For about a third of the journey we will be camping (both campsites and bush) however when in major cities or in areas where there are adverse climatic conditions we use small clean hotels and guest houses conveniently located near the town centre. There are also beach bungalows in Thailand and some local hotels in Indonesia with quite primitive facilities, but this adds to the fun.

Quite often we will camp by ourselves be it bush, desert, jungle or beach.  Other times we will use designated camp sites where the amenities will vary but generally will have bars and showers. We normally find that people prefer to supply their own tents as they are then not forced to share and they can pick a tent that suits their needs.

foodFOOD

When Camping, lunches and dinners are included. Breakfasts are included throughout the whole trip. When staying in hotels, lunches and evening meals are not included and you are free to choose your own style of food from a large variety of enticing local restaurants.

There will also be some optional dinners offered to you by your Tour Leader.

There is always a huge variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and meats which are purchased at local markets by you and your tour leader. Good food is paramount to a successful journey and it is our policy to buy only the best and freshest ingredients in generous quantities for each and every meal.

campEQUIPMENT

Our vehicles carry a full complement of gas stoves and kitchenware for the group’s use.
