OZBUS LAUNCHES NEW YORK TO LONDON OVERLAND

OzBus has now launched its most exciting venture ever, New York to London overland. Owner, Mark Creasey said, "In keeping with our policy of taking the adventurous traveller to places no one thought possible, we have now started this amazing service between New York and London."

Over 17 weeks and 14,000 miles OzBus groups will travel across America and Canada to Alaska, then cross the Bering Sea to Kamchatka and Siberia, before venturing across China, Mongolia, Tibet, Kazakhstan, Russia and Eastern Europe to London.

"The incredible success of our London to Sydney programme has proved to us that today's adventure traveller is looking for the unusual journeys" Creasey said. The inaugural trip will start from New York on March 15th, 2009 and there will be trips going in the other direction from London as well. There is a flight involved from Alaska to Eastern Russia across the Bering Sea.

BERLIN TO SYDNEY TRIPS LAUNCHED

Ozbus has now launched Berlin to Sydney trips starting from July 2008, in keeping with the spirit of our successful London to Sydney programme. Owner, Mark Creasey said ‘We have had many inquiries from Europe and it made sense to design a trip starting in Germany, Europe’s biggest travel market. This also expands the dynamics of our groups, to include more people from different countries, all with a passion for travelling to different destinations.’  Click on the German flag for a translation of our website.

THE HIPPIE TRAIL LAUNCHES

The Hippie Trail is synonymous with overland travel. During the 60’s and 70’s many backpackers covered the route from Istanbul to Kathmandu using any form of transport they could find. From hitch hiking to steam trains, rickshaw to camel, they would find a way on this ultimate overland trip. OzBus has now launched our own Hippie Trail trip. OZBUS DOWNUNDER LAUNCHES

When we realised our London to Sydney trips were ending in Australia, we thought why not start up a trip around the great southern land.
