TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It is vitally important that you read and understand all of our booking and payment terms and conditions before you book one of our overland trips. Please read them both through carefully and if you have any questions please contact us!

1. It is understood that our expeditions are private ventures run by a private organisation.
2. It is a condition of joining our expeditions that you purchase your own travel insurance valid for ALL the countries that we travel through. A copy of which must be presented to OzBus prior to joining. We are not liable and do not have passenger liability insurance.
3. It is understood that upon receiving a letter or e-mail of acceptance, a deposit of 750gbp/1500aud will be required to secure your place on our expedition and all further payments must be made as per our payment schedule.
4. If a booking is made after a payment date has passed, that amount will become immediately payable along with the deposit.
5. Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking with more than 12 weeks remaining before departure date, we will refund all money paid minus the deposit amount.
6. Any bookings cancelled with less than 12 weeks remaining before departure date will not be refunded.
7. Anyone choosing to leave an expedition part way through will not be refunded any money.
8. All information required for the trip has been provided in this website or in the pre-departure information we have provided to you. It has been indicated that our expeditions are 'exploratory' and by their very nature are subject to change. Itineraries have been provided as a guide only. Details about accommodation, visas, costs etc have been provided to you. If however, after booking you decide that you have either been misinformed or did not properly understand the information provided, you may cancel your booking within 14 days for a FULL refund.
9. It is understood that there is an element of risk involved in partaking an expedition of this kind. You must understand and accept this risk.
10. All decisions relating to the trip itself and the vehicles and equipment used will be made by OzBus or their crew. The decision of OzBus is final.
11. There may be times when the OzBUS representative has to make a decision in your best interests or in the best interest of their group.  You agree to comply with the authority and decisions of the appointed OzBUS Representative and the laws of the country in which you are travelling.  If you do not so comply, or if, in the OzBUS Representative’s opinion, you are not compatible with the general enjoyment and well-being of other members on the trip or the smooth operation of the holiday itself, we reserve the right to refuse to let you continue with the holiday.  Furthermore, you agree that your fellow travellers and any OzBUS representative has the right to travel/work in a safe environment.  Any threats to their safety, well-being or inappropriate behaviour by you, whether verbal or physical, will be taken extremely seriously and may result in the immediate termination of your holiday.  In either event, you will be responsible for your own repatriation costs and have no claims against us.
